Partners to Offer a Master’s and M.B.A. in 2› Years (Briefly: Education)
…Starting in July a new partnership between the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and the China Europe International Business School, also known as CEIBS, will allow students to earn two master’s degrees in just two and a half years. Students will spend 12 consecutive months at CEIBS’s main campus in Beijing*, followed by three months at the Fletcher School in Medford, Massachusetts. At the end, they will graduate with both a master’s in law and diplomacy and an M.B.A. — two degrees that, if pursued separately, would normally take another year.
The two schools already offer a one-semester exchange program...“As the demand for graduate study in China continues to grow, we’re delighted to be able to expand our ongoing cooperation with CEIBS,” said Stephen W. Bosworth, the dean of the Fletcher School. “We’re confident that the program will strengthen both of our institutions and will better equip our students to meet the challenges of a complex, interdependent and globalized world.”
