Looking back on my Fletcher experience: The Fletcher School allowed me to gain the hard business skills necessary to lead an organization, while providing me the opportunity to learn more about development issues around the world. The program was a perfect fit for someone like me who is interested in development but comes from an engineering background.
My favorite Fletcher class: John Hammock's class on Ethics and NGO Management was amazing. The class made me question my interests in development and my role as a practitioner in the field. Even more important, Professor Hammock and I ended up becoming friends; he's a mentor and a good friend, and we remain in contact.
