Fletcher Thesis: Managing Socio‐Political and Security Challenges in the Afghan Mobile Telecommunications Sector
Choosing Fletcher: "The Fletcher School was the only graduate school in the US that I had applied to. The MIB program offered the core business curriculum I was looking for combined with an international affairs field in development economics. In addition, it offered a closer faculty-student engagement than British and European graduate programs and a close-knit network in the sectors I was most interested in."
On Fletcher’s Diversity: “One of the reasons I chose Fletcher was its great diversity. The students are roughly 50% international and 50% American, which is reflected in the environment, the talent pool, and the amazingly versatile experiences and skills that people bring to the school and to the other members of the Fletcher community. This manifests itself through the great number of languages spoken at Fletcher, the fantastic cultural nights, the fun atmosphere and cooperative team work. All these different experiences and cultural perspectives come together to produce more profound, more original solutions both in the class room and eventually in the real world for global issues. I have found this environment to be truly stimulating while accepting of different points of view, which I really appreciate. We challenge each other, but always with respect. This is very much the essence of Fletcher.”
