I was impressed by the accessibility and helpfulness of Fletcher alumni
from the outset of my interactions with the school. I remember
receiving a phone call, just days after I was accepted into the
program, from a New York alumnus to offer congratulations and a better
glimpse as to why Fletcher is so special. After a few telephone
conversations and a visit to campus, I began to get a clear picture of
this very unique, close-knit community. After arriving
at Fletcher, those interactions went well beyond my
initially high expectations in so many different areas, from the
quality of my diverse classmates, to the opportunity to be involved in
so many different groups and organizations, to having a chance to
interact with powerful players on the world stage.
