My career since Fletcher: In my work at NERA, I was involved in projects both in North America and internationally, focusing on oil and gas transport, electricity markets, and even bilateral investment treaties. I had the opportunity to work in French and Spanish so I'm using my Fletcher degree to the fullest! I use nearly every aspect of both my coursework and activities in clubs at work. While I knew that corporate finance, accounting, and international energy policy would be the building blocks for my career, I've also drawn on managerial economics, statistics, international business transactions and petroleum in the global economy, on a daily basis. Working on the Tufts Energy Conference and directly with energy companies has helped me put different aspects of the industry into context. The breadth of my studies and activities has allowed me to bring other perspectives to our work and I'm proud of what I can contribute to our work.

On the classroom experience: While I knew corporate finance would be a tough class, I did not expect to enjoy studying for it so much. I owe a lot of this to my group. We enjoyed the challenge and worked through our questions as a team. Now, several years later, we are still using our google email to keep up with each other around the world.
