On the flexibility of the curriculum:  When completing my MBA, I was only allowed to specialize in one major. On the other hand, the Fletcher MIB curriculum is unique in that not only am I allowed to specialize in any one business field such as consulting, finance, marketing, or public and NGO management, I am allowed as a Finance major to specialize in any Finance sub fields of my choice such as Microfinance, International Project Finance or Corporate Finance and Banking. In addition to this, the Fletcher MIB curriculum allows students to develop specialized knowledge in any particular region of the world.

How Fletcher has broadened my global perspective:The continuous reduction and removal of barriers to the free flow of goods, services, and capital across international borders, and necessitating global political and financial integration calls for business managers to look beyond the scope of their various countries’ economies in formulating business strategies. With the various course offerings in global and regional political and financial economy, coupled with the core business and financial courses at Fletcher, my global perspective of business has been broadened. I now appreciate how financial decisions of a business entity or a country could affect and shape the world’s economy due to global financial and political inter-connectivity through businesses operations.
