Why I chose Fletcher: I chose Fletcher for two reasons - the student diversity and the flexible curriculum. Since I am interested in foreign cultures and economics, I wanted to attend a school where I could get acquainted with people from all over the world. From this standpoint, Fletcher is the best school in the world. The second reason I chose Fletcher is the fulfilling curriculum on international affairs. Since I wanted to study both business and international relations, I decided that the Master of International Business (MIB) would be the best fit. In the MIB program, I not only acquire business skills, such as accounting and marketing, but I also learn about the economic and social circumstances in foreign countries. This program allows me to kill two birds with one stone!
Seeking out the Fletcher Alumni Network: The Fletcher alumni network is accessible and helpful to current students. The alumni are kind, and provide a lot of advice on which lectures to attend, and job hunting strategies. Additionally, they live all over the world, and work in various sectors, such as public, private, and NGO. If students want to change their career, or work in a foreign country, the Office of Career Services connects students with alumni who go out of their way in helping students achieve their career goals.
