Why I chose Fletcher: As an alumna of the undergraduate International Relations program at Tufts, I have always admired Fletcher's reputation, alumni, and faculty. When considering graduate school programs, the Master of International Business (MIB) program's unique curriculum, which combines business and international affairs courses, seemed like a perfect fit for me. Having worked at the intersection of business, international policy and strategic communications, I was drawn to the program’s nuanced and multi-disciplinary approach. In addition, the supportive community, diverse student body, and focus on academic excellence were an integral part of my decision to come to Fletcher, and return to Tufts!
My focus at Fletcher:
I have always been a big believer in the power of the private sector to “do good, while doing well.” I believe Fletcher’s MIB program will equip me with the skills to help companies think strategically about how they can make a social impact and create long-term value in society. Additionally, Fletcher provides the academic rigor and professional development opportunities needed to succeed as a leader in today’s ever-changing global business landscape.

I helped organize the inaugural Global Forum on Responsible Business Conduct (RBC), which aimed to further the implementation of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and chart the way forward after the Rana Plaza factory collapse. In addition, I conducted research on the corporate social responsibility (CSR) landscape in India and the investment climate in new frontier markets such as Kazakhstan, and analyzed various efforts in the financial services industry to adopt RBC principles.
