On Fletcher’s alumni community: A key differentiating point for Fletcher is its alumni network. In a relatively short span of time, I’ve tapped the network a few times and been amazed with the number of Fletcher alumni around the world in high-level positions doing interesting work. More importantly, there is a strong willingness from the alumni community to work with students on potential career opportunities, a sentiment that is further enhanced by the Office of Career Services. I’m honored to be a part of this network; it’s global, proactive, and strong and I’m excited about the opportunities as I move forward.
How I first learned about Fletcher: Fletcher first appeared on my radar during my undergraduate studies, but it wasn’t until I was working as a consultant in Washington, D.C. that I learned about Fletcher’s innovative business program. I was immediately interested. Businesses today face more complex challenges than ever before and a business leader needs the right mix of private sector and policy expertise in an international context to be successful. The Fletcher MIB not only provides the traditional core business curriculum but it also allows me to drill-down on specific international affairs topics. I’m confident my education at this institution will prepare me for tomorrow’s challenges.
