On October 21, The Fletcher School welcomed more than 75 alumni and friends to the FECOMERCIO Sao Paulo Building for its first Symposium Series event in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The afternoon, aptly titled “Brazil as an Emerging Power: Challenges and Choices,” addressed the large strides Brazil has taken to ascend to the world stage over the past fifteen years, and the myriad opportunities that lay before the rising nation as it looks outward diplomatically, economically and politically.
