On the flexibility of the curriculum: The
flexibility of the interdisciplinary curriculum allows me to focus on
more than one field of study. At Fletcher, I enhanced my academic
background in the field of international trade as well as law and
development. At the same time, I was able to improve my skills as a
negotiator and leader. By learning to examine policy issues with tools
from multiple disciplines, you begin to see the big picture and in turn
have the ability to make a difference in the lives of people.
My plans for my international life after Fletcher:
After Fletcher, I participated in bilateral and multilateral
trade negotiations on behalf of Turkey. Thanks to Fletcher, I am
well equipped with the experience, background, and multi-dimensional
perspective to contribute to the development of policies on trade for
the smooth and equitable functioning of the international system to
benefit the whole.
