On the classroom experience: I have found the classroom experience here at Fletcher to be both invigorating and rigorous. My professors and classmates constantly challenge how I think about the world, which is exciting and keeps school enjoyable and interesting. The professors at Fletcher both teach and guide us, and all of my professors have been immensely enthusiastic about their work at the school. Fletcher faculty are engaging and intelligent, and are truly invested in the success of their students.
On the alumni network: One of the best parts of the Fletcher School is the community, both on and off campus. When I was applying to graduate school, I was lucky to meet and know some alumni, some more recent than others. However, no matter their graduation year, every alum I spoke with was incredibly enthusiastic about the school, and had all remained actively involved after their time at Fletcher. It is clear that the sense of community remains long after graduation. Furthermore, Fletcher alumni are truly everywhere, and are always willing to help! Many Fletcher alumni remain deeply invested in the continued success of students, and are willing to sit down with students for any reason, whether to discuss an international affairs issue over coffee, or to offer career advice or connections.

Traveling to Mendoza with my sister for my 21st birthday, and being stranded because of a volcanic eruption. 4 days and an 18 hour bus ride later, we finally made it to BA in time for our flight home!
