On the Classroom Experience: Since the first lecture, what absolutely fascinates me at this school is the classroom experience regarding the quality of the faculty. In all classes that I am enrolled in, the professors have such profound knowledge and experience in their field. They have worked all over the world and engaged themselves in the most remote, dangerous, conflict-prone areas. They share the most moving, horrifying, touching, inspiring and eye-opening stories with us. Their experience makes the theories and articles that we read as preparation come to life. They encourage us to share our experiences and thoughts and the classes really live from the exchange and discussion of all these different views and opinions. Being at Fletcher truly gives me a chance to broaden my horizons and see the world from entirely different angles.

What Fletcher is “All About”: One of the things that has surprised me about my experience at Fletcher is how active everyone is here. Before Fletcher, I thought I was active and always had a lot going on. But since coming to Fletcher, I have been surrounded by people who are active within the school at such high levels that I do not know how they manage. There is such an intense energy of organizing, planning, and participating in an extremely broad area of fields and activities that it really motivates me to be involved in this movement. This is what Fletcher is all about: being a part of a community, spreading ideas and thoughts, and passing on your passions to others.
