On the diversity of the community: Although I was aware that the Fletcher Community would be diverse, I wasn't prepared for the amount of students and faculty who represent countries and communities from all over the world. This wide range of perspectives from different walks of life only helps to enrich the intellectual experience that is The Fletcher School. The only thing that comes close to matching the cultural diversity of Fletcher is the diversity of work experience that its peers and faculty have been a part of. Any interest in a potential career field is easily cultivated here.

On the importance of the Professional Development Program (PDP):  One of the aspects of my educational experience that I am most thankful for is the Professional Development Program. Along with providing a wealth of academic knowledge, the Fletcher School prudently prepares its students for their future by helping them cultivate the tools to best market themselves to prospective employers. I find my exposure to Fletcher's excellent network of career professionals complimented by skills such as resume writing, interviewing, and drafting inquiries so that I feel confident come graduation time.
