On Fletcher and its location: Over the course of my first Masters program, I realized that I was extremely interested in International Relations. While doing research on various degree programs, the Fletcher School was prominently one of the best schools in this field.  What added to this was the Boston area, and the intellectual stimulus that is present in this university town. Being able to cross-register courses within different Tufts schools and local universities such as Harvard and MIT, was a great incentive as well. My interest in studying energy security also directed me to apply to Fletcher as the diverse pool of Professors such William Moomaw, Bruce Everett and Kelly Sims Gallagher are great academics and practitioners in the field.

What makes Fletcher strong: What makes Fletcher very special is the strong alumni network. Fletcher alumni are a pool of very talented and accomplished people all over the world who are more than happy to answer questions, provide advice and guidance in career options to current students. This is a very important asset because at least fifty percent, if not more, of the learning that happens in a school is from the people around us, and the network of Fletcher alumni is the best group of people to learn from as they have been there and done that.
