Why I chose Fletcher: I chose Fletcher primarily because of the people. Based on my interactions with current students and alumni, I realized that Fletcher was a very warm and dynamic community. This was an important deciding factor for me because I knew that there were a number of schools that offered strong academics, but my classmates and professors would ultimately be what would define my graduate school experience, and the community would be what would stay with me most long after I graduated. While I had only gotten a glimpse of the Fletcher community as a prospective student, I wanted to be part of this diverse, intellectually curious, and internationally-minded group because this environment would help me become the person I wanted to be, professionally and personally, and because I hoped to contribute in my own way to perpetuate this incredible community.

On Career Services: I have been very impressed by the Office of Career Services (OCS) at Fletcher. Starting with our first week at school, OCS hosted a session to get us thinking about what we want to do when we leave Fletcher and what we need to do to get there. You really get the sense that they are fully invested in helping Fletcher students reach their career goals and that they want to put Fletcher students in the best position possible to be competitive in the job market.
