On the flexibility of the curriculum: The flexibility of the curriculum at Fletcher has allowed me to personally tailor my coursework within my chosen concentrations to reflect my academic interests and career goals. During my first semester at Fletcher, I took a diverse set of courses, including Role of Force, Iran in Global Politics, and Social Networking Analysis, giving me a strong grounding in security studies, a major player in Middle East affairs, and network analysis.
Why I chose Fletcher: I chose Fletcher because of the school's strong academic programs in International Security Studies and the Middle East, its welcoming and active student body, and numerous opportunities to become involved in extracurricular activities. Fletcher brings together experienced, internationally-focused, and open-minded students to form a unique community. Whether I am inside or outside of the classroom, I am consistently exposed to different ideas and perspectives by my peers, creating a diverse and collaborative environment.
