On the classroom experience: The faculty have leading-edge experiences in various fields and are devoted to their students both inside and outside of the class room. This makes for a strong community. Also, students come to Fletcher from all sectors and from many different industries. These professional experiences, combined with a diverse student body, encourage deep class discussions. I was excited when I realized how much practical information I could get from every class.

How I plan to use my experience at Fletcher to make a difference in the world: I believe that my experience at Fletcher will enable me to develop a sound understanding of the political issues surrounding international relief programs and the conflict with private sector entities. Knowledge of international affairs is essential when undertaking international development and relief work. My goal is to work with an organization to actively support the expansion of initiatives aimed at supporting underdeveloped countries around the world.
