Class of 2013 Student Profiles

Why I chose Fletcher:  Fletcher was my first and only option when applying to graduate school in the United States. After looking at other programs and schools around the US, I always came back to Fletcher's website, feeling that Fletcher was offering me exactly what I wanted and that this was the place for me. I knew that Fletcher was a place where I could learn both inside and outside the classroom from both professors and students. Also, I had the impression that Fletcher was offering me a unique environment where I would be able to contribute to a community with my previous experiences and background. And this is exactly how it is! Each person is valuable for what he/she brings to the School and for what we can contribute to in Fletcher now and later in the future.

Something that has surprised me about Fletcher: I was shocked at the incredible number of clubs, social activities, and initiatives that go on at the same time each day. It is impossible to make even half of the events offered in a week. This is a completely new model of learning and interacting at school for me as the European system does not have anything similar to this. I love it because it is a way to connect with people who have similar interests while not having to be in the same class with them.
