Why I chose Fletcher: I chose Fletcher because of the school's excellent reputation in the field of International Relations. The IR practitioners I spoke to in Singapore had great things to say about the reputation and quality of a Fletcher education. I was also attracted to the flexibility students are given in selecting courses and the high percentage of international students in the school. After all, what is an international relations education without students from all over the world?
On the classroom experience: One of my favorite courses was “The Arabs and Their Neighbors.” The lectures were stimulating and the reading materials, though many, were interesting and insightful. I never thought I would enjoy reading history books until I took this course! At the end of each lecture, we had short sessions where relevant video clips were shown and discussed, which was quite interesting.
