Kathrin Strobel, 2014

 Kathrin Strobel is from Germany and obtained her undergraduate degree in International Relations from the University of Dresden, Germany, which offers a very selective interdisciplinary program combining International Law, International Economics and International Relations. She specialized in Public International Law and spent one semester at the Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, Senegal. During her studies she gained experience, e.g., in the German Bundestag (the German parliament), in a cultural and educational centre in the city of Jenin in the West Bank, and as an Assistant Director for the documentary film “The International Criminal Court.” Recently, she worked at the Berlin Social Science Research Centre and at the Legal Advisory Section of the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court. She is interested in a broad range of topics including international justice, corporate liability and natural resources.
