Our students represent diverse geographic regions and come to Fletcher with significant legal experience in various sectors, including private international law firms, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, diplomatic missions, multinational corporations, and think tanks.
During their year of studies, LL.M. students may seek career advice from the LL.M. Program Director and Fletcher’s Office of Career Services to develop a customized approach to a career in international law. Our Office of Career Services offers an ongoing professional development series, free-of-charge career trips to Washington, D.C. and New York, and on-campus sessions with employers such as the United Nations and State Street Corporation. You can read more about the offerings of our Office of Career Services on the Career Services website.
Finally, the Fletcher LL.M. facilitates significant networking within the legal community. Our High Table series and Capstone Colloquium afford students opportunities to meet a wide variety of international law practitioners and scholars. Visitors to the Fletcher LL.M. program often shed valuable insight on careers in international law, and sometimes prove to be valuable connections for students hoping to work in a similar field.
