Tracy Reynolds, United States


Tracy Reynolds is an active duty military member in the U.S. Navy where she works as an attorney specializing in international and operational law.  She received her law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law.  She also has a master's degree in National Security and Strategic Studies with an emphasis in Asia and the Pacific from the Naval War College.

Over the last nine years, Tracy has advised military decision makers ashore and afloat in Afghanistan, Djibouti, Yemen, Oman, Japan, the Philippines, Thailand, the Republic of Korea, the Gulf of Aden, and the South China Sea.

Her extracurricular activities include voracious reading and outdoor adventures with her husband and three children.  During her year at Fletcher, she would like to research and write about the U.N. Convention on the Law of the Sea and its potential as a medium by which to mitigate tensions in the South China Sea.

Tracy has a particular interest in U.S. Special Forces and human security.
