As a licensed advocate in India, Sadhvi Saran has been working primarily in the fields of international commercial and anti-trust laws, cross-border M&A, sexual harassment laws and consumer litigation for diverse industries ranging from defence to agriculture. On graduating from National Law University, Jodhpur with a B.A.LL.B (Business Law Hons.) degree in 2011, Sadhvi worked as a legal counsel with Infosys Limited, a multi-national technology company, through 2012 and then with Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, a global conglomerate, until 2015. During this time, Sadhvi completed certificate courses in management (Harvard Manage Mentor), finance (TDLP) and competition law (School of Competition Law, Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs), spearheaded a corporate Diversity Council, developed and implemented a corporate compliance system, and was been designated an “Early Leader” by the Mahindra Group.
Over the course of her legal education, Sadhvi has had the opportunity to author articles for state journals, participate in legal aid camps and intern at the Supreme Court of India, MP State Human Right Commission, International Campaign for Justice as well as with corporate law firms. At Fletcher, Sadhvi wishes to pursue her interest in international organisations as well as law and development. In her spare time, Sadhvi loves to read, travel, do yoga and play the piano.
