Costanza Mazzei, Italy


Costanza Mazzei holds a master’s degree in law from LUISS University of Rome. Costanza has also studied Public Comparative Law and International Criminal Law at Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICADE in Madrid, and Project Cycle Management and international cooperation on field projects at the Italian Institute for International Political Studies in Milan. Her academic research has focused on the protection of the family under EU Law.

Costanza has worked for Concerto Srl, where she conducted an analysis of the regulations governing labor markets in Albania, Austria, Slovenia, and Switzerland, and for the European Institute of Public Affairs, where she assisted the Head of the European Public Management Unit in delivering assistance to member states to allow them to better understand the nature, content and interpretation of EU law. Costanza has also interned for International Fund for Agricultural Development, where she conducted research on rural development issues, and for a local firm, where she focused on family reunification law and conducted an in-depth review of the EU directive for non-EU citizens (third-country nationals).

Costanza is looking forward to expanding her knowledge of International Law and Diplomacy at Fletcher.
