Gerta Uruci-Limani is from Tirana, Albania. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Law from University of Tirana, Albania and a Masters Degree of Civil Law from University of Prishtina, Kosovo.
Prior to Fletcher School, Gerta was involved in the non-profit sector. She co-founded a non-profit organization in Kosovo specifically aimed at civic engagement, rule of law and inter-ethnic relations. She also worked as a lawyer for the Kosovo Property Agency, which is an independent international agency established to resolve property claims inherited from armed conflict in Kosovo. Prior to this, she worked for Kellogg Brown and Root, Inc. in support of US military troops in Kosovo and Iraq.
At the Fletcher School, Gerta is particularly interested in International Human Rights Law and Transitional Justice.
