Juan Alberto Salinas Macías, 2013


Juan Alberto Salinas Macías graduated from Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente A.C. (ITESO-Ibero) Law School in Guadalajara, Mexico.  Before completing his bachelor degree, he was invited to work as a legal advisor in the Jalisco State Legislature, where he worked as legal Chief of Staff for a Congressman.  He also served as a link with the Secretary of Labor and the Labor Commission.  He was a member of the Citizen Security Council of Jalisco, in which capacity he advised on local reforms and new initiatives to meet constitutional obligations.  He has participated actively in politics since 2006.  At Fletcher, he is interested in foreign relations, negotiation and regulation.  He holds two scholarships from the state and federal government.
