The consulting class was incredibly helpful in launching my consulting career. Firstly, it taught me what management consulting consisted of and the core thought processes necessary to succeed within the industry.  Secondly, it helped develop my CV so I was able to get a strategy internship for my Fletcher summer break (New York Presbyterian Hospital), which enabled me to sell myself when applying to consulting firms as having a strategy background.  Without the consulting class, I would have been far less knowledgeable about the consulting industry and a less attractive candidate to employers; the class really paved my way for entry into management consulting.

The Fletcher consulting team created an international strategic marketing plan for private-pay-patients for the international marketing arm of Partners hospitals (Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital).
