Stephen Goodman

Stephen Goodman works at the intersections of strategy, marketing and policy. A global professional and seasoned practice leader, he has served as a trusted advisor to senior leadership around the world and across start-ups, Fortune 100s, elected and government officials and world-class non-profits.

Stephen leads Madrone Advisory, an international strategy consultancy focused on global business, marketing and innovation advisory services. Stephen built and led a strategy function for the C-suite at Sun Microsystems which focused on market insights and analytics, executive thought leadership and global partnerships.  He has held market strategy and management consulting positions with PowderHouse Partners, Center for Applied Research (affiliated with Wharton), Mainspring/IBM Global Services and the California Bankers Association.

Stephen served for three years as U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein's economic and technology policy aide in Washington D.C. Leadership boards include the Bay Area Council Economic Institute, Public Policy Institute of California and Business for Diplomatic Action.  He serves as a judge for MassChallenge and executive mentor to the Global Social Benefit Incubator in Silicon Valley.
