Dr. Warde is an eminent international finance scholar who is formerly a professor at UC Berkeley. In addition to his frequent contributions to Le Monde Diplomatique, Dr. Warde is the author of Islamic Political Economy (forthcoming 2003), The Financial War on Terror: Origins, Methods and Consequence (forthcoming 2003), Islamic Finance in the Global Economy. Dr. Warde has also written extensively on international business policies, such as Foreign Banking in the US, Foreign Investment in the US Real Estate Sector, and "Telecommunications Market in France".
