On behalf of Fletcher’s Office of Development and Alumni Relations,
congratulations on your admission to The Fletcher School. We hope that
you will choose to join us in the fall.
Our office believes in taking a life-cycle approach to alumni
relations: not only do we help keep Fletcher alumni connected to life
on campus, but we want to help you, our newest students-to-be, connect
with the global network of over 8,000 alumni throughout the world. We know
that many of you will be hearing from our alums in the coming weeks so
that they can answer any questions you might have about the School and
the Fletcher experience. You can learn more about our alumni body by
clicking here, and access our online directory of approximately 68 regional alumni clubs and special interest groups here.
There are several ways we aim to help current students.
Providing targeted alumni contact info: You can request
contact information from our office specific to your needs, whether for
research or a job search. We can compile lists of alumni according to
region, industry, etc.
We, along with several other offices, are continuously working on
our data systems and information flow to ensure that available data is
as up to date as possible. All alumni are encouraged to share updated
information whenever a change occurs, and we are working at the club,
local, and regional levels to get the most current information
possible.
Acting as a primary point of contact: We are happy to serve as the contact point
for any student needs or questions. We can also act as a liaison to get
you personally in touch with specific alumni or regional alumni clubs.
Providing opportunity for interaction with alumni: Throughout the course of the year, our staff and our alumni enjoy interacting with students at events like the Reunion Clambake which is held Commencement weekend; and at the New York and DC Career
Trips, and the Boston Career Event, events all organized in conjunction
with the Office of Career Services.
You may also want to explore the Office of Development and Alumni Relations' main web page, or take a look at our semi-annual publication, Fletcher News.
Finally, we encourage you to contact us with any questions you have
regarding our services or Fletcher alumni. If you do decide to come to
Fletcher, we can promise you will find a most dynamic and engaging
alumni network, as well as a truly unique campus experience.
We look forwarding to welcoming you in person during Orientation 2013.
Very best wishes,
The Office of Development and Alumni Relations
