    Book Signing: Andreas Hofleitner, MIB 2018

    5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

    Please come join us on Tuesday May 1st from 5-7pm to celebrate the launch of MIB Andy Hofleitner's first book Heil Hitler Herr God. We will plan to have Andy read a section of the book, answer questions about the story and sign copies for those who would like. If you already have a copy, please still come join us and celebrate the launch. If you don't have a copy, you are welcome to buy one at the book signing for $15 or purchase one from Amazon here: Heil Hitler Herr God. The event is BYOB.

    Andrey Kortunov: Russian Foreign Policy and Putin's Fourth Term

    Please join the Russia and Eurasia Program for lunch and a lecture by Andrey Kortunov, Director General of the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC). He will discuss “The Fourth Term: What does Vladimir Putin have in stock for the world?” and answer questions about Russian foreign policy. Attendance is by registration only.

    Come celebrate the end of the academic year with Fletcher students, faculty, and staff at the Moakley Courthouse in Boston! Tickets are $83 and must be purchased by Friday, April 27. Dinner, dessert, refreshments and a photo booth are provided. Don't miss out on the best night of the year!

    Science Diplomacy Mini-Symposium

    12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

    The Science Diplomacy Mini-Symposium is designed as a university-wide dialogue in which natural and social scientists can share elements of their research relating to Science, Technology & Innovation (STI) in view of international collaborations, as well as contributions to diplomatic and policymaking processes. The overarching framework for the discussion is the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. It will take place at the Behrakis Auditorium (1st Floor of the Jaharis Family Center for Biomedical and Nutritional Sciences, located at 150 Harrison Avenue, Boston).

    Managing Practicalities “In the Field”

    Join us for a workshop on personal safety, self-care, ethics, and the practicalities of engaging with local populations in disaster- and conflict-affected environments. This workshop will be led by Fletcher and Friedman Professors Dyan Mazurana and Karen Jacobsen.

    Annual Fletcher Clambake! Under the tent on Fletcher Field Don’t miss out on festive drinks, light hors d’oeuvres, a full Clambake Dinner (lobster and bib included!), live music, and socializing with your classmates, family, and alumni! Registration is required.

    All-University and Fletcher School Commencement Ceremonies

    8:30 AM – 1:00 PM

    The All-University Commencement in which all schools participate includes the entrance processional, the awarding of honorary degrees by Schools including the official award of the Fletcher degree, the awarding of honorary degrees and the All-University Commencement Address. The Fletcher School will hold its diploma awarding ceremony at approximately 11:15 a.m., immediately after the All-University Ceremony ends. It will be held under the same tent on Fletcher field that was used for the Class Day ceremony.
