  4. Fletcher School Missing Maps Mapathon: Aleppo

    5:30 PM – 7:30 PM

What’s the Missing Maps Project? The Missing Maps Project was co-started by MSF and ICRC to solve a very serious issue that disaster response teams often come into contact with: many of the places where disasters occur - be they natural or conflict based - every year are literally “missing” from any map. What this means is that first responders lack the information to make valuable decisions regarding relief efforts. Missing Maps is an open, collaborative project in which individuals can help to map areas where humanitarian organisations are trying to meet the needs of vulnerable people.
