    The Tripoli Project: Reflections from the 2017 Summer Cohort

    Tripoli is Lebanon’s second largest city and is emerging after 40 years of intermittent conflict. This summer, the Tripoli Project sponsored Fletcher students’ internship, consultancies, and research initiatives. Fletcher student panelists will draw on their experiences working in the city and shed light on the city’s economic, political, and socio-cultural revival.

    Memories of Algeria's Struggle For Freedom: Zohra Drif

    Zohra Drif fought in the War of Independence (1954-1962) in the ranks of the FLN in Algiers. She was a member of the Council of the Nation (the upper House of the Algerian Parliament) from 2001 to 2016 and its Vice President from 2003 to 2016.
