Description

Dr. Shadi Hamid, fellow with The Brookings Institution's Project on U.S. Relations with the Islamic World, and Dr. Jocelyne Cesari, senior fellow and director of the the Islam in World Politics Program at Georgetown University’s Berkley Center, will discuss the role of Sharia in constitutional development and politics in the Arab countries that have experienced popular uprisings and regime change during the past three years.
