Leading feminist author, scholar, and activist Dr. Cynthia Enloe has accepted an invitation of the Gender Initiative to come to Fletcher this spring! She will give a public talk, followed by a discussion, on Monday, April 7th, 3.30 - 5 PM.

Enloe is the author of (among others) The Curious Feminist and Bananas, Beaches, and Bases: Making Feminist Sense of International Politics. She offers an important perspective on gender analysis and militarism, armed conflict, and peace processes.
