Description

This inaugural event marks the Africana Club’s first annual conference focused on security and development challenges in Africa and will provide a platform for discussion on approaches for countering violent extremism in Africa; improving infrastructure to achieve universal access to energy; increasing access to sufficient, safe and nutritious food; and examining innovative solutions to patient health care on the continent.

We are pleased to welcome a distinguished list of participants including our keynote Clare Akamanzi, COO at the Rwanda Development Board (RDB), Assistant Secretary of State, Frederick Barton, and former U.S. Ambassador to Kenya, William Bellamy (ret.) among others.
