    A discussion on Ethics and Morality

    5:30 PM – 6:30 PM

    This event will be organized in a very unique format unheard of at Fletcher. We will use tickers to allow for real-time anonymous polling of participants ( think 'Audience Poll' on 'Who wants to be a Millionaire' ) on difficult ethical questions. Your responses will form the basis for a real-time case discussion. Challenging ethical questions on varied topics will be used to stimulate discussion. Please be warned that some of the discussions can be unsettling and sensitive.

Panelists are Faraj Najem, a widely respected Libyan author, lecturer, advisor, and commentator on Libyan matters and prominent member of the Libyan diaspora in the UK; and Dirk J. Vandewalle, an Associate Professor of Government at Dartmouth College and leading expert on Libya. The event will be moderated by Hugh Roberts, Professor of History at Tufts University and former North Africa Director for the International Crisis Group. No RSVP required, first come, first serve.

    The Net Impact chapter at The Fletcher School would like to invite you to join second annual Impact Mixer, to be held on Wednesday, November 28th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  Fletcher Net Impact believes in using the power of business to make a more socially and environmentally sustainable world. The Impact Mixer will be an interactive experience: professional guests will be seated at tables around a conference room and students will be able to rotate around the room, speaking with the professionals whose work is most pertinent to their own career goals. This is an excellent opportunity to connect with people in the Boston area who are focused on business to affect positive social change.

    Erica J. Murray Marrow Drive Fundraising Event at PJ Ryans

    Come to PJ Ryans for a beer and camaraderie! The more people that fill the bar, the more money we raise for the Erica J. Murray Marrow Drive! Erica Murray was a Fletcher alumna that died of Leukemia because she was unable to find a bone marrow donor. Every year, Fletcher puts on fundraisers and a bone marrow drive in her honor. You can find more information about joining the bone marrow registry at marrow.org.

    Zumbathon for the Erica J. Murray Bone Marrow Drive

    12:00 PM – 1:30 PM

    Erica Murray was a Fletcher alumna who lost her battle with Leukemia in 2008. Erica depended on the National Marrow Registry to help find a donor who could save her life. Unfortunately, a successful match was not found. That’s why your support is needed! Come Zumba and raise money for a worthy cause so there will be a greater chance in the future to find a match for someone like Erica.

    Toys for Tots: Fletcher Veterans Toy Drive

    Donate a new, unwrapped toy this Christmas to Toys for Tots, a U.S. Marine Corps Reserve program. Toys go to local, less fortunate children.
