Impacting Public Service
Many Fletcher students come to their graduate studies with prior experience in public service. Many also return to non-governmental organizations to address the challenges of Darfur or Iraq, Kosovo or Korea. With a broader, nuanced understanding of the international arena in which they work, they are able to more effectively address organizational goals through connections.
Twenty-first century leaders must possess sharp management skills as well as a broad and deep understanding of the international arena. In the last decade, more than 30 percent of Fletcher graduates have chosen international business careers in consulting, financial services and management. The School's alumni can be found in leadership positions throughout the private sector, as CEO and Chairman at major multinational corporations, founders of successful private ventures, and investors in private equity and social ventures.
