The Fletcher School

A Graduate School of International Affairs

2008-09 Student Profiles

Fahd Belahmidi, MIB 2010, Morocco

On the MIB curriculum: It is a very well-balanced and flexible curriculum. I couldn’t find a better program allowing me to take a corporate finance class, a negotiation class, a political economy class at the same time. In addition, we take regional classes where faculty and students analyze in depth historical, political and social environments of a particular region of interest, while learning about available business opportunities.

Why I chose Fletcher: After five years of organization and information systems consulting in Morocco, I felt that I was very close to hitting the end of the learning curve. I was in need of new perspectives, had a thirst for learning, and at the same time wanted to advance my career in a more globalized and highly interdependent world. Fletcher’s MIB program was the perfect answer.

A unique business program in a world-class international relations school, the MIB program was made for people like me: People looking to further define classic MBA tools and at the same time strongly concerned with international issues and their impact on business worldwide. This program is preparing me for the challenges lying ahead in the global market by offering me a broader vision of the world’s economic, social and political dynamics.
