On the flexibility of the curriculum: The MALD curriculum is allowing me to both deepen my skill set and broaden my knowledge. I am strengthening my quantitative and analytical skills in order to have a better understanding of the role of migration in the development process; at the same time, I am learning about issues and regions of the world that I hadn’t been exposed to before.
On the international life I see for myself after Fletcher: I see myself as a citizen of the world and Fletcher is strengthening this perception. I feel a sense of responsibility not only for contributing to the development of my own country, but also for the many countries around the world that face similar problems and challenges. Therefore I see myself working for an international organization, whether intergovernmental or NGO, where I can contribute my insights to reduce world poverty and inequality within societies.
