The Fletcher School

A Graduate School of International Affairs

2008-09 Student Profiles

Danielle Donza, MIB 2010, United States

On Fletcher’s International Community: Fletcher was the only school I visited at which I heard a foreign language being spoken on campus. And I didn’t just hear one foreign language; I heard six! Six different foreign languages being spoken during a two hour visit. One of which I didn’t even recognize. I am continuously impressed with the diversity of the Fletcher community. The diverse backgrounds, opinions, experiences, and perspectives of my fellow classmates make for such a rich learning environment.

Fletcher’s Alumni Community: I am amazed at the level of Fletcher’s alumni involvement. Before I even started at Fletcher, prominent members within my field were emailing me as Fletcher graduates from years ago to welcome me to the Fletcher community, answer questions, and offer advice. The Fletcher connection is strong and the alumni network is extensive. Alumni have already opened doors for me and I am confident they will continue to do so in any role I pursue, in any field, in any country.
